Article Marketing has been around for a long time, well over a decade now, but does it live up to its promises? First of all, one has to know how article marketing works and how can it make money online for anyone.

In the early years when Internet marketing was fairly new, making money online was quite easy. Article marketing was a hot item then since not many people were doing it and the article directories were new.  During that time, everyone was willing to help each other, so it was quite easy to rank high in the article directories as well as the search engines. All one did was write a few good articles about the product they were either selling or promoting, put in a few high searching keywords and link back to their website and pull in the traffic.
