Even though the official launch of the Microsoft Kinect system won’t happen until tonight at 6pm in Times Square, many smart shoppers have already paid for the system on pre-order via Amazon.com.
The system, which is sort of like the Nintendo Wii without any remotes, follows 48 different body movements. It allows users to have the full gaming experience while they run, jump, dance and do all kinds of other movements.
There are a few different options for purchase right now including the Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures game as well as the Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle. The Bundle comes with the new 4GB Xbox 360 and Kinect. It retails for $299.99 on Amazon.com.
For just $100 more, shoppers can purchase the Xbox 360 250GB console with Kinect for $399.99.
the initial sales look very promising, but the titles that they have aren’t worth it. we have to admit that the Kinect does have some draw. It will quickly dissapear once the buzz wears off
